This is the question many of us are asking.
According to Yun, the Chief Economist at NAR, "After a pause, home sellers are gearing up to list their properties with the reopening of the economy...plenty of buyers also appear ready to take advantage of record-low mortgage rates and the stability that comes with these locked-in monthly payments into future years."
As an agent, this is what I'm seeing in the market, a steady pace of both sellers and buyers engaging in the market. Inventory continues to be low in our Georgia market which is good for sellers who can sell their homes quickly and profitably.
However, with interest rates being so incredibly low, buyers can be assured of lower monthly payments.
Bottom line, if you're considering selling your home, more than likely an eager buyer is waiting for the opportunity to buy it!
